Welcome to the Bath Writers’ Workshop.
We are a supportive group of writers who meet about twice a month, in and around Bath, Somerset.
We share stories and extracts of our work, feeding back our thoughts and comments. The object of this is to help us experience our work from a reader’s perspective, to help us revise (if necessary), edit, and work towards a publishable standard.
Since writing is essentially a solitary affair, our fortnightly meetings not only encourage us to work to deadlines and stay focused on our works in progress, they also give us a chance to socialise with other writers.
We are a small group and are currently full, but if you have one afternoon per fortnight free (day to be confirmed according to availability), write regularly (on either a novel, short stories, or memoir) and would like to join our waiting list, please contact us for times, dates, and venue of meetings. We would expect a regular commitment to share your own work and provide feedback on other writers’ work.
